a WIB? The School and Workforce Partnership is the designated Workforce Investment Board (WIB) in Bennington County. A WIB is a state funded volunteer organization linking the business and education communities. The State of Vermont created twelve regional WIBs in 1996 (VT H429). They are dedicated to the task of strengthening individual and business prosperity by identifying local workforce, education, and training needs, and coordinating resources to meet those needs. In our view, addressing the workforce needs of business and developing career opportunities for individuals are fundamentally linked. |
